Counselling Therapy
Discover support for when life feels overwhelming, to help find balance, clarity, and confidence.

What is counselling therapy?
Counselling and psychotherapy provide a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement. Through professional therapy, we work collaboratively to address what’s causing distress, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping. This supportive process promotes emotional wellbeing, resilience, and improved mental health, helping you move forward with greater clarity and balance.
What can I help you with?
Life can feel overwhelming at times, even when it looks like everything is under control. Sometimes it’s hard to admit we’re struggling, or to find the space to untangle all the pressures we carry. I offer a supportive space to talk about whatever is on your mind and to find a way forward that feels right for you.
I work with adults and adolescents on a wide range of challenges, including:
-
Anxiety, stress, or feeling constantly “on edge”
-
Low mood or periods of feeling down
-
Grief, loss, and coping with change
-
Relationship or family pressures
-
Self-doubt, low confidence, or feeling like you’re “never enough”
-
Life transitions or juggling multiple responsibilities
-
Exploring identity, self-acceptance, or purpose
-
Work or study-related stress
-
Past trauma or difficult experiences
-
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about the future
Whether you’re managing a specific challenge, balancing life’s demands, or simply want to understand yourself better, counselling can help you gain clarity, self-compassion, and a greater sense of wellbeing—so you can thrive quietly, without changing who you are.

What do I bring as a therapist?
As a person-centred therapist, I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood—without judgment. I combine empathy with careful listening, and often draw on my experience in sports psychology and coaching to help you set meaningful goals, reframe mindsets, and manage confidence levels. Whether we’re exploring everyday challenges, life transitions, or performance pressures, my approach blends therapeutic depth with practical strategies that can be applied in real life.

Creativity also plays a role in my work—through imagery, reflection, or expressive techniques—to help you understand your experiences in ways that words alone sometimes can’t capture. Therapy with me is a partnership: I’m here to support you in reconnecting with your own strengths, building clarity, and taking steps—big or small—that feel right for you.

I’m committed to ongoing learning and continually expanding my awareness of how people experience life, so the space I offer is inclusive, compassionate, and tailored to you. My goal is to help you not only navigate challenges, but also thrive, grow, and feel more confident in your own abilities.
